E-mail us your information. See Contact page for information.
Please send at least two photos of your child/children.
1. A close up of your child’s face.
2. A full length shot.
Your child should fill up the frame in the photo so we can really see what they
look like. Please do not spend money on professional pictures if you do
not already have them.
Include your name, daytime phone number and e-mail address, your child’s name,
age and date of birth, their hair and eye color, height and sizes (clothing and shoe).
Also list any experience or special skills.
Please type "SUBMISSION" in the subject field of your e-mail.
Send photos attached as JPGs.
We will contact you as soon as possible (usually within a month depending on
schedules) if we would like to set up an appointment and meet with you.
Not everyone is a fit for the agency roster right away. Agency needs change
from time to time, so even if it isn't a fit the first time, try submitting again
after 6 months.
Kids should be outgoing, able to take direction, well behaved and
good with people even on the first meeting. Parents MUST be nice,
professional, easy to work with, and willing to let the kids speak
for themselves as soon as they are old enough.
A couple of hot tips for child modeling with an agency:
The sample sizes for kids used by clients in the Portland market
are 9, 12 and 18 months; 3T, 5 and 10.
This size reflects their true size, not what you buy them. When you
shop for your children, you may buy a size or two larger to allow
for growth. True size, however, is measured by trying on the
clothing right off the rack. If you try the clothes on your children
directly off the rack and they fit perfectly, that is their model size.
There are other agencies in Portland that represent younger kids. Be sure to ask a lot of questions, such as, how much does it cost to start up? Or, do you have a fee to be represented? Most reputable agencies will ask that you run off laser copies of snapshots arranged on an 8.5x11 piece of paper with the agency logo, your child’s name and stats to use as marketing material. Kids, or anyone for that matter, do not have to go to modeling school to be a model. Although you are responsible for paying for marketing materials, you should not be required to pay a fee just to be represented at an agency. Each agency has a different protocol for submitting photos. It’s best to go to their web site to obtain this information.
Puddletown Talent thanks you in advance for your interest in venturing into this exciting world of modeling and considering our agency for your possible representation.
